Bu bitkiye Yunanistan dışında sadece Kıbrıs’ta rastlayabiliriz. Kithira’da ise adanın kuzey kesiminde bulunabilir. Latince Adı: Cynara cornigera, Κινάρα η κερατοειδής Familya: Compositae Kithira‘da Bilinen Adı: Άγρια Αγκινάρα (Agria Anginara) Yunanistan’nın Diğer Yerlerinde Bilinen Adı: Άγρια Αγκινάρα (Agria Anginara) Toplama: Genellikle işlenmemiş kayalık arazilerde bulunur. Mart ayından Nisan ayına kadar yenilebilecek durumda olgunlaşmış enginarları toplayabiliriz. Özellikleri: Yabani enginar karaciğere çok iyi gelir. Bitkisel bir ağrıkesici olup , kolesterole iyi gelir hatta afrodizyak etkisi olduğu da söylenebilir.
