Die Schlucht von Mylopotamos, mit seinen fließenden Gewässern, beginnt in der Mitte des Dorfes und endet am Strand von Kalami. Sie ist von Platanen und Pappeln umgeben und führt zu Wasserfällen und kleinen Paradiestümpeln. Diese Schlucht ist von 22 Wassermühlen umrandet, die von den Einwohnern in der Vergangenheit benutzt wurden, um ihr Getreide zu verarbeiten.

Die Erfahrung

Vom Wasserfall von Fonseca, vielleicht der eindrucksvollste von allen, können Sie eine angenehme, kühle Wanderung genießen. Tauchen Sie in die kühlen Gewässer und bewundern Sie die Landschaft unter dem Schatten der alten Platanen. Folgen Sie dem Weg durch die Schlucht. Während Sie hinunter wandern, werden Sie auf die Wassermühlen, andere kleine Wasserfälle, Steine und kleine Steinbrücken stoßen. Der Weg ist die ersten Meter hinweg leicht. Darüber hinaus ist der Schwierigkeitsgrad höher.

Das Kythera Hiking-Team hat einen 2.6 km langen gewundenen, kreisenden Weg gebaut, gesäubert und mit Wegweisern ausgestattet. Nehmen Sie eine Kamera mit auf den Weg. Sie können tolle Bilder machen!
