Die Estavromenos Kirche wurde circa 1660 von Filotheos Darmaros, dem damaligen Bischof Kythiras, erbaut. Davor befand sich schon eine Kirche an diesem Punkt. Eine zugemauerte Besitzerurkunde mit dem Wappen der Damaros Familie am Eingang der Kirche. Die Kirche ist der Kreuzigung gewidmet, welche am „Good Friday“ mit dem Eingangslied „Du hast uns vom Unheil des Gesetzes freigekauft“ gefeiert wird. Während der Fastenzeit befindet sich üblicherweise die Ikone der Panayia Myrtidiotisa in ihr. Sie steht am Montag von „Diakenissimos“ dort in dem Heiligen Ikonenständer, der speziell dafür 1806 von einem Künstler aus Zakinthos erbaut wurde.
