Construido en 1857 por los ingleses, es uno de los faros más grandes de los mares de Grecia. Se halla en la parte norte de la isla, en el cabo Spathí. Su altura es de 25m. Para visitar el faro, se tiene que seguir el sendero. Más información se puede obtener por los habitantes de Karavás. Hay un farero que probablemente les permitirá entrar en el interior del Faro. El “simatorio” o “simatologio” (código de señales marítimas) es un edificio que ofrecía información a los barcos que pasaban por la zona. La información se divulgaba con el uso de banderas. Es un paisaje de belleza insuperable. Con buen tiempo se hace visible todo el golfo lacónico, desde el cabo Maleas hasta el Ténaro.
