En la isla de Citera hay muchas fuentes, la mayoría de las cuales está en la parte central y al norte de la isla. Muchas de las del norte son de agua ferruginosa. Las más importantes se hallan en Milopótamos, Mitata, Viarádika, Goniés, Kría Vrisi, Perati, Ójeles, Petruni y Karavás.
