One of the 25 indigenous medick species of Greece. It is a typical ammophilous species that prefers sandy beaches next to the sea where small crawling bushes are created. Scientific Name: Medicago marina Family: Fabaceae (or Leguminosae) Kythera Name:Name in other places of Greece: Midiki, Armyrithra Collection: It is found in sandy beaches of Kythera. It blossoms at early spring when it is also collected. Properties: It is a gastronomic herb that is included in a balance healthy diet. No special therapeutic actions are mentioned.
