Kythira hat viele natürliche Quellen, von denen viele in der Mitte des nördlichen Teils liegen. Viele von ihnen sind eisenhaltig. Die wichtigsten befinden sich in Mylopotamos, Mitata, Viaradika, Gonies, Kria Vrissi, Peratis, Oheles, Petrouni und Karava.
